Frequently asked questions
What exactly is DSPX?
DSPX is a shop operations dashboard for Etsy sellers. It connects to the shop you own through Etsy's official API and gives you one place to manage listings, process orders, track shipments and understand your finances. It replaces the spreadsheet-and-ten-tabs workflow, not your shop.
What data does DSPX access?
Only the data needed to run the features: your shop's listings, your orders (items, totals, shipping details) and shop-level stats. Access is granted by you through OAuth scopes and can be revoked at any time. We never access other shops' data, and we never sell or share buyer information.
Can DSPX change things in my shop without asking?
No. Reading data (orders, stats) happens automatically so your dashboard stays fresh, but every write — publishing a listing, editing a price, fulfilling an order, syncing tracking — is initiated by you and confirmed before it runs. New listings always arrive in your shop as drafts.
How accurate is the finance module?
Order earnings are calculated from Etsy's current fee schedule — transaction, payment processing, listing and applicable regional fees — and are designed to match your Etsy statement line for line. If Etsy changes a fee or tax rule, cross-check your statement.
How do I disconnect?
Two ways: disconnect from inside DSPX, or revoke the app from your Etsy account's security settings. Either action cuts access immediately — tokens are discarded and syncing stops.
Can anyone create an account?
Yes. Create an account with Google or email, verify your email address, and DSPX creates your isolated workspace automatically. Phone sign-in is not available.
Is DSPX affiliated with Etsy?
No. DSPX is an independent tool built on the public Etsy Open API v3. The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
